Streetball.co.nz is for the thousands of people all over New Zealand who play basketball for the love of the game. We exist for the players, on every level. Rather than taking the spectator’s perspective and watching from the sidelines, we put you inside the game in its purest form. These games are being played across New Zealand on countless courts of concrete, dirt, driveway, blacktop or the finest hardwood. They’re being played in Auckland, Christchurch, even Gore, where sneakers are optional but teamwork isn’t. These games are 1-on-1 or Rec Leagues , inside or outdoors. Anyone might show up to play: your best friend, your nemesis, your favorite D1 player. And the best thing about the Playground is, there’s no graduation, no retirement. You can play high school or divisional basketball for years. You might even be able to play pro ball. But the Playground is yours for life.
